Tyco will be showing the following:.
1.
DAB Radio Break-in for Tunnels.
This emergency radio messaging system (just nominated for an Innovation Award at InterTraffic which will be announced on the first day of the exhibition) is already installed at the Rotherhithe Tunnel in London and allows emergency messages to be broadcast to drivers via their standard AM, FM, LW and DAB car radios.
Loudspeaker public address can also be integrated into the system to provide automated or manual messaging capability.
2.
Mosaic.
Tyco's new digital IP-based control system, Mosaic - this is the first public showing of a major new system that allows easy integration of existing analogue and the latest digital CCTV equipment including cameras, monitors, recorders etc for more effective traffic and incident monitoring.
3.
New RADAR based hard shoulder monitoring, incident detection and perimeter protection.
This system automatically detects stopped vehicles, accidents or other events for a faster and safer response to traffic incidents.
4.
Fire detection systems for tunnels.
Tyco's fire systems are renowned worldwide for fast effective detection in tunnels.
5.
Water Mist Suppression systems for tunnels.
Tyco will be showing the latest in water mist fire suppression for use in tunnels.
These low water volume systems are uniquely suitable for tunnels as they quickly lower temperature and do not cause flooding problems that can occur with conventional systems 6.
Remote maintenance software for CCTV systems.
Another innovation on show will be Tyco's remote maintenance software that allows automatic monitoring and alerting of maintenance or operational problems.
7.
Wireless CCTV.
This will be demonstrated with live pictures transmitted from outside the RAI using a 12m high telescopic trailer-mounted mast at the entrance.
Wireless CCTV eliminates the need for expensive cable laying and allows CCTV systems to be easily and cost-effectively moved to another location r used for emergency situations.
8.
SCATS and Motorway Management Systems.
Tyco will be highlighting the latest traffic monitoring control systems already successfully proven on motorway, roads and in inner-city traffic schemes in various countries across the world.
