HVAC DP Transducer

An UK Instruments and Controls product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Feb 15, 2005

The latest innovation in low-pressure measurement for building energy management and comfort control.

UK Instruments and Controls launches the new Ashcroft CXLdp low pressure transducer is specifically engineered to provide stable, reliable static or differential pressure measurement in HVAC comfort control systems.

The Ashcroft CXLdp transmitter uses the patented Ashcroft Si-GlasT variable capacitance sensor.

This MEMS sensor provides extraordinary sensitivity and long term stability.

New digital compensation is accomplished using a highly reliable application specificintegrated circuit (ASIC).

A small housing and multiple mounting options allow the CXLdp to be easily mounted on a DIN rail, plenum or wall.

With the convenient "Euro" style electrical connector, the CXLdp can be installed into a panel without power interruption.

Detachable Euro style terminal block reduces wiring errors and field wiring time.

LED power status indicator to assist introuble shooting or quickly locating the instrument on a duct.

19 standard pressure ranges from 0/0.1 through 0/25.0¨ H2O (0/0.25 through to 60mbar) and in accuracies of +/-0.8 and 0.5% full scale all capable of withstanding 15 psi without damage or calibration change.

Other standard features include rugged ABS Case and a CD EMI/RFI immunity rating.

With quick delivery and an attractive price, the CXLdp is the ideal pressure sensing device for most building control system applications.

The CXLdp is a cost effective addition to the Ashcroft range of Low Differential Pressure Transducers available from UK Instruments and Controls.
