UK Hardware Distribution Limited has announced ambitious growth plans to create a group within the UK over the next two years.

Accrington-based UK Hardware Distribution Limited has announced ambitious growth plans to create a group within the UK over the next two years.

The company aims to open a number of depots across the country and make a series of strategic acquisitions, following advice from business advisory firm, Unity.

The construction supplier has recently celebrated its second birthday by moving into new premises and plans to open a sales or stocking depot every three months for the next two years from January 2007.

Jamie Govier, managing director of UK Hardware Distribution, explains: "We are indebted to business advisory firm, Unity, that has guided us right from the start".

"The team at Unity helped us fund our initial business idea and its planning and has played an integral role in our business, which has increased its turnover from zero to GBP5 million in two years".

"In order to increase the national exposure of the business we plan to make a number of strategic acquisitions over the next few months, and we look forward to working with Unity to make this happen".

It is estimated that this two year period of growth will create jobs in the North West and successfully position UK Hardware Distribution as a leading independent consumable supplier of hardware and safety items to the construction industry.
