Simply Reliable Power Protection
Uninterruptible Power Supplies Limited launches an addition to its highly respected PowerWAVE range of UPS.
PowerWAVE T Series comprises single-phase UPS systems with power outputs 7.5 to 20kVA and three-phase systems from 7.5kVA to 40kVA to meet the requirements of mid-range server rooms, networks, telecommunication systems, industrial processes and medical equipment.
PowerWAVE's compact, highly efficient technology is normally applied in applications where a high level of flexibility and scalability is required.
The new PowerWAVE T Series, however, is aimed at the market for a simpler, lower-cost, but no less reliable solution.
In the design of the T Series, the focus has been simplification, together with optimisation of critical components for the highest reliability.
An excellent price/performance ratio has been achieved, making PowerWAVE T Series the best value for money in its category without compromising system availability.
Furthermore, providing increased security and efficiency, PowerWAVE T Series is ideal as an alternative to multiple separate, smaller units distributed around a facility.
Another important feature is outstanding back-up time density.
PowerWAVE T Series is fitted with integral batteries to offer up to 20 minutes autonomy on a small footprint - for example, only 0.45sq.m for a 40kVA protection system.
It is based on third-generation, high-frequency, double-conversion VFI (voltage frequency independent) technology which offers the advantage of wide input voltage and frequency windows, delivering a high level of system security in applications where the mains is unstable, but without undue battery usage.
Other PowerWAVE benefits still apply, such as double-conversion efficiency up to 95 percent and 0.98 regulated input power factor for minimum running costs, and single-phase input current total harmonic distortion less than 10 percent for cleaner mains.
In fact, saving energy and with fewer hardware components, PowerWAVE T Series is a truly environmentally friendly solution.
