Priva Scoops Building Control Innovation Award
Priva's engineering software and application engine, Top Control Select, has been awarded the Technical Innovation of the Year prize at the Building Controls Industry Awards.
Top Control Select was declared the winner in a category contested by five other finalists.
This marks the second year running that Priva has been voted the winner in this category.
Established 50 years ago in Holland, Priva's UK operations are based in Watford.
The company has made a name for itself in building control systems by offering cutting-edge technology to control the indoor environment of commercial, industrial and public buildings, effectively minimising energy use and improving the indoor environment.
The company employs over 400 people worldwide and operates out of seven countries.
Top Control Select is a Windows-based building management system (BMS) application engine that covers project estimation, engineering, (including generation of graphics, simulation of applications and control strategy,) final commissioning and fine tuning.
Its library of control applications covers 99per cent of commonly-used UK applications, and its freely-programmable mode that can cater for any application or variation.
