New profuse PET tool from Uponor
Uponor new, entry-priced pipe exposure tool (PET) is suitable for all diameters of ProFuse pipe.
As Robin Baycroft confirmed: "Its main advantage is that it helps us keep an all-plastic system, instead of the steel specials we used to have to make, with their flanges, nuts and bolts, etc.
This system by contrast is a completely welded tee.
It speeds things up considerably for us because there's less bolting needed, and we also don' t have to put cathodic protection in to stop the metal corroding." The NGT team was so delighted with the new Uponor tee that they almost immediately planned another application for it, also in Rawtenstall.
