The UPLUS team has already successfully carried out a significant number of under-pressure branch saddle installations around the UK for National Grid, United Utilities, Scotia Gas Networks and Wales and West Utilities, as well as for connections companies like Fulcrum Connections, Connect Utilities and Core Utility Solutions.
Accreditation under the GIRS scheme provides UIPs with a standardised set of requirements, single point of contact, accreditation recognised by all UK gas transporters, and the Accreditation Mark, assigned only to registered UIPs.
It represents the achievement of a high technical, quality and safety standard.
