New profuse PET tool from Uponor
Uponor new, entry-priced pipe exposure tool (PET) is suitable for all diameters of ProFuse pipe.
All fittings are approved to gas specification requirement PL2: PART 4, which guarantees delivery of a quality product with long-term integrity.
Benefits for installers are the ongoing consistency and quality of the fitting, ensuring safe work in less time.
The fitting is also smaller than any combination of products currently used for site-based constructions, reducing the risk of third-party damage, too.
A full range is available in all the sizes for which connections are required, including a 40mm to 500mm range for the 1-inch connection, and a 63mm to 500mm range for the 2-inch connection.
Other benefits of the new fitting include non-sparking plastic threaded closure caps with nitrile O ring seals to prevent gas ignition risk.
No 'snatch' operation is required, either.
Unifit range rated bases are capable of working on more than one pipe size, minimising stockholding.
