Archial Architects has secured planning approval for a housing development at Conon Bridge.

Archial Architects has gained approval for its proposals to design 209 houses for at Braes of Conon, Conon Bridge.

Cameron and Paterson Homes, a branch of Tulloch Homes, has won approval from The Highland Council's Ross, Skye and Lochaber Planning Applications Committee for a masterplan of 209 properties to be built in the Conon Brae development to the south eastern edge of the village.

Greg Duncan, director, Archial Architects, said: "With councillors having already approved an application for the first phase of the development, which included 30 affordable properties at the site, this latest approval for the erection of a further 179 houses, comprising bungalows, semi-detached and detached homes and two-storey flats, makes this development one of the largest residential building projects in this part of the Highlands for some time".
