Videx Security, market leader in door entry and access control systems, highlight new developments to its product ranges at IFSEC 2007.

Videx Security, the market leader in door entry and access control systems, is highlighting new developments to its product ranges at IFSEC 2007.

The company's new VX2300 two-wire mono/colour video Door Entry System is designed on true two wire bus technology.

It is ideal for small to medium installations and can support up to eight entrance panels and currently up to 64 video handsets.

As part of an expanding range of Disability Discrimination Act compliant audio and video door entry kits, Videx Security also offers vandal resistant video kits.

These one button door entry kits feature a flush fitting, stainless steel door panel integrated with a monochrome camera.

The door panel features a large tactile halo illuminated 'call' button with the word 'Call' which is also in braille.

Red 'Wait', yellow 'Speak' and green 'Door Open' LED displays are also included to provide visual indication of the stage of the call.

The integral mono camera has infra-red illumination.

The Eclipse hands-free Videophone brings new levels of versatility to the company's range of video door entry systems.

The units are available in both surface and flush versions and incorporate a colour monitor and hands free full duplex speech for ease of use.

The Eclipse provides users with high levels of functionality including speech line and call tone volume as well as colour and brightness controls.

Door-open, camera recall, privacy and on/off latching relays are also featured.

The Bio-Access finger print reader is the latest addition to the 4000 Series modular door entry range.

The reader is a thermal swipe sensor and can store readings of 1000 or 3000 users with up to five fingerprints for each end user.

The readers can now be offered as a networkable system as well as stand alone units.

The new XPR Dual-Tech combined keypad and proximity reader is designed to provide higher levels of access control security.

Other XPR products on show include O2 LA Pro Kits, designed for residential, commercial, local authority and small/medium industrial companies.

The O2 LA is an intelligent security system providing access control for two door entrances but it can be easily scaled up to multi-door solutions using expansion kits.

As in 2006, the theme of Vidextras forms part of the company's exhibition stand.

It underlines the strength of the Videx service to installers, distributors and specifiers.

It highlights the quality and reliability of the product range as well as the added-value services offered in terms of customer and technical support, training and the renowned Product Builder software.
