VX2300 is a true two wire video system

A Videx Security product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jul 31, 2007

Videx Security's new VX2300 two wire video system is designed for small to medium size installations and is simple to install.

It is available in both mono video and colour video and all components, including door panels and videophones, connect to the same two wire bus which has no polarity requirements and so can be connected either way round.

The main feature of the VX2300 system is the two wire bus to which up to 64 videophones can be connected.

There is an intercommunication facility between videophones in the same apartment as well as a local door bell facility for each apartment.

The system also incorporates an isolation feature as standard so that in the event of a short or fault occurring in an apartment which may otherwise compromise the whole system, the video splitter will isolate itself from the rest of the system.

There is therefore no disruption.

Videx Security's 4000 Series style door panels, including DDA and vandal resistant door panels are available for the two wire system.

The 4000 series functional door panels are also available with individual buttons for each tenant.

The VX2300 is the latest digital system from Videx and will benefit from ongoing research to further expand its capabilities.

Full details are available from Videx Security.
