Induction loop for door panels for door entry

A Videx Security product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Aug 17, 2007

New induction loop module is now available from Videx Security for the company's 4000 series range of door entry systems.

It connects to the audio amplifier module in the door entry panel to allow callers with a hearing aid set to the 'T' position to hear a tenant speak.

The unit is built into a standard size 4000 Series module which means it can be used in conjunction with most other Videx 4000 Series modules.

This enables customised door entry panels to be constructed.

The induction loop is also available for vandal resistant door panels.

The unit has an internal aerial which eliminates the need for an external aerial loop making the installation much easier than a conventional loop system.

It will operate on voltages of 12/24V AC or DC with a quiescent current of approximately 50mA.
