Hoist controller at Royal International Pavilion
Hoist UK, distributor for Verlinde, announces that it has supplied the prestige Royal International Pavilion, home of the Eisteddfod International Music Festival in Llangollen, Wales.
It now employs 15 staff at its base at Netherton near Dudley in the Black Country, and has a multi-million pound turnover.
Fellows Stringer is historically a producer of electric overhead travelling cranes (EOTCs) and specialises in various industrial sectors, with the full support of the Verlinde brand name and product sets.
The company does much of its business in the Thames Valley in the high Wycombe-Oxford-Maidenhead triangle, and has a dedicated service and inspection division.
Fellows Stinger's clients operate in a wide range of industrial fields - from paper mills to power stations and the MoD.
Thomas Descamps, managing director for Verlinde made a special trip over to the UK to commemorate Fellows Stringer's achievement and congratulate Fellows Stringer's managing director Tim Jackson on the milestone.
Thomas Descamps said: "Fellows Stringer has been a loyal partner of Verlinde for 15 years and we're delighted to continue to retain the company as a distributor as we embark on a major UK distribution expansion programme".
Tim Jackson, Fellows Stringer managing director, said: "It gives a company like ourselves great confidence that we are backed by such a reliable and reputable brand as Verlinde".
"It certainly helps us in sales situations and we are delighted to have passed the milestone of 15 years working in partnership with Verlinde.".
