VEKA enters composite residential door market

New VEKA Amulet door range are exceptional quality and performance backed by VEKA's infrastructure.

Realising that the launch of a new range of residential doors into the UK market would require something special and worthy of its brand, VEKA has taken more than a year to research and develop VEKA Amulet, the company's new range of composite door sets.

The result, which will be revealed at Glassex in April, is a range of no less than 23 styles, in 7 colours and with hundreds of glass options to offer an almost limitless number of options.

The grain effect of the door, one of the qualities that VEKA paid particular attention to, is indistinguishable from real timber in appearance and feel, providing desirable traditional aesthetics with technical high performance in every respect.

The door leafs are manufactured using the highest quality GRP skins which are highly resistant to knocks and will not warp, crack or split and are permanently coloured so will never need painting.

They will therefore provide excellent weatherproofing and insulation throughout their installed life ensuring few, if any call-backs for installers.

Supplied as complete door sets VEKA Amulet doors are fully complemented by the outer frame in looks and performance.

The newly developed frame profile features Ovolo geometry to further distinguish the appearance of the whole door when installed; triple weatherseals provide excellent protection against the elements.

Equal attention was also paid to the hardware: VEKA Amulet Doors are fitted with newly developed high quality mortice multi-locks that are not prone to the now widely known and increasingly prevalent 'bumping' techniques to gain entry.

All hardware fittings have been rigorously tested to ensure that they withstand the rigours imposed during the lifetime of a residential door, to maintain its appearance and performance with minimum maintenance.
