VEKA and Ashford Windows sign up with Stadium HA

VEKA and fabricator Ashford Windows are partnering with London-based Stadium Housing Association in a two-year window and door replacement contract.

The agreement offers Stadium a number of bespoke benefits including NBS product specification, planning and drawing support, an extended warranty on the products installed and a Service Level Agreement to deliver a consistent programme of works.

Representatives of Stadium and Ashford recently visited VEKA's Burnley HQ to inspect the design, production and testing of the Matrix 70mm profile that has been chosen for the GBP1.8million project.

Stadium is a community based housing association and the founder and largest member of the Network Housing Group.

It controls more than 8,500 homes, predominantly in and around Brent.

The contract involves replacing mainly steel and timber windows as well as some PVC-U.

VEKA's introduction to Stadium comes largely via the supplier's work with the London Borough of Hackney and its GBP200million refurbishment under the Decent Homes initiative, as National Commercial Sales Manager Trevor Ranns explained: "Stadium is familiar with the Hackney contract and as a result became an associate member of the Supply Chain Management Consortium and has been impressed by the benefits associated with membership".

"Director of Asset Management at Stadium, Richard Hazard said: "We were looking for a good quality product and felt that VEKA satisfied our needs.

The relationship is developing positively and we have high hopes for a long term partnership with VEKA and Ashford as installer.

Norfolk-based Ashford is also one of the VEKA fabricators - along with Sovereign, Piper and Paramount - in the Hackney contract, which is now in its fourth year.
