Office furniture - Verco grows dealer
market share
UK office furniture manufacturer Verco reports continuing increased sales through dealer channels with major contract gains.
"Our dealer order levels are showing continued good form and the response to our new programmes launched at this year's Design Prima show in London was very strong," says the company's sales and marketing director, Chris Riley One of the UK's longest-established office furniture suppliers, Verco has reported continued growth with invoiced sales up by 12.5% in 2007 with desking and storage sales in particular showing substantial growth against the previous year's figures

Other key contracts have been completed for architects Norman Foster in London and Nicol Thomas in Birmingham; the Cancer Research Council; the Islamic School; recycling specialist SITA; financial trader ODL Securities; Microsoft subsidiary Lionhead Gaming; brewer SAB Miller; De Vere Venues, and business improvement specialist, Grass Roots - voted, for the second year running, one of the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies To Work For.
Looking at the balance of the year, Riley remains upbeat, commenting: "We expect to continue to grow our market share on the basis of providing great products at competitive prices, backed by the first rate service levels provided by our company and by our dealerships.".
