Encode Software reaches target turnover
Encode, a Microsoft software consultancy focused on the construction and oil and gas sectors, has hit its target turnover of GBP500,000 in its first year.
The Microsoft Dynamics NAV consultants (a financial and operational software tool) recently rescued a GBP300,000 project for leading manufacturer of timber windows and doors in Europe, NorDan.
Encode will now continue to support NorDan UK and further develop the system, which could lead to a further GBP90,000 of consultancy work.
Microsoft Dynamics NAV provides financial and operational software tools for the construction and energy industries.
It can be used for every area of a business, from general accounting and payroll, to project management and manufacturing.
It standardises the entire company on a single integrated business management solution to increase productivity from people, processes and technology.
Mike McLeish, director, Encode, said: "Encode is going from strength to strength with our NAV 2009 Foundations and Platform products".
"We discovered that many businesses in the construction and energy sector require assistance with simplifying and streamlining business processes and because of this we continue to win work throughout the UK and Ireland with these industry-specific products".
Encode Software is an Escape Group company.
With offices in Aberdeen and Glasgow the company set-up in late 2008 and now has seven employees.
It operates in the construction and oil and gas sectors providing software solutions to these industries.
