The Green Register next training event
The Green Register is inviting construction professionals to attend their highly commended training course at Exeter's Phoenix Arts and Media Centre on the 12-13th March.
The training course is on the 12-13th March.
They'll be able to learn about sustainable building techniques and concepts plus the benefits of these approaches to their businesses, despite the current economic downturn.
Well over 500 companies have already completed this course and become TGR members.
Existing members described this event as "Progressive and ground-breaking" and "inspiring and supporting".
Lucy Pedler, TGR Director, said: "Many construction industry professionals are now realising that sustainable building is no longer an 'alternative' method of building but a fundamental approach to the new way we need to design and construct our buildings".
Jon Watkins, Head of RIBA South West said: "The Green Register provides an essential service to the construction industry with its dedicated approach to the promotion of sustainable construction practices across the UK.
RIBA South West recommends the activities provided by TGR for large or small projects, where there is a genuine desire to work better with the environment".
Lucy adds: "If things are quiet in the office, use this time to improve your knowledge and awareness of sustainable building issues".
"Research shows that the market for green building products and services is rapidly increasing, and TGR is looking forward to offering businesses in Exeter and the surrounding area the opportunity to get ahead of the game".
The two-day introductory course, which costs just GBP295, runs several times a year across the UK and leads to Green Register membership.
The benefits of TGR membership are wide ranging and include: promotion of your business, networking with like-minded individuals, regular educational and social events, further training opportunities, and preferential rates and discounts.
