Vicaima doors for AmicusHorizon social housing

Vicaima doors have been fitted into apartments in a AmicusHorizon Housing Association development in Surrey.

Vicaima won the contract to supply the doors to the Leatherhead-based developer, Craddockwood Homes.

Paul Baker of Craddockwood Homes said, "We've used Vicaima products on all of our developments and have been impressed with the high standard of construction and the quality of the finish".

"They produce the exact doors for our needs".

The interior doors are from Vicaima's Naturdor range feature an oak veneer finish.

All doors from the range are veneered to the edge to conceal the lippings and lacquered to achieve a first-class finish.

Vicaima also supplied the development with apartment entrance doors.

These performance doors are tested to ensure they meet stringent safety and home security standards and have FD30S and SBD (Secured by Design) PAS23/24 accreditation, together with acoustic control to Part E, 29db.

The FD30S classification provides 30 minutes resistance to fire and smoke.

The SBD accreditation affords the level of security recommended by the Official Police Security Initiative set up to improve home security at the design and construction stages.

The security features fitted on Vicaima's FD30S front entrance doors include a 3-point locking system, security hinges and a drop seal.
