New aerial maximises reception for digital TV
Vision Products has introduced the approved Trident 2 antenna which now provides an excellent signal even in areas of poor TV reception.
Vision has responded to this demand by introducing innovative 32 and 24 way multiswitches to add to the market leading V5 series of products.
The new switches fulfil the demand for larger switch capacity while minimising switch footprint.
Small footprint size is vital for installations in confined spaces.
Installers of IRS (Integrated Receiver Systems) will benefit from the small size and flexibility of powering - either from the head end via trunk cables or by local power.
Additional benefits include up to 14dB satellite gain and 10dB terrestrial gain to provide a quality signal when reception is weak.
Installation is further simplified because both the satellite and terrestrial signal paths have stepped gain to make signal equalisation easier.
Level controls for High and Low satellite bands and terrestrial inputs also assist.
Compliance with cable and earthing regulations are also simplified since earth bonding bars are pre-fitted at manufacture to ensure minimal signal degradation.
Vision V5 is the only maker to specify the performance of its switches including the earth bar.
Commenting on the new introductions to the range, which now covers 4, 8, 12, 16, 24 and 32 outputs, Richard Stallworthy, Product Manager of Vision, said, "We are very pleased to be first to market with these higher capacity switches".
"Installers are always looking for ways to make their work easier and more cost effective".
"These switches save on installation time as well as giving a lower cost per circuit".
"This further strengthens Vision in the rapidly expanding digital TV and satellite installation products market.".
