Vision External Distribution Amplifier provides installers with a low cost system to wire TV sockets throughout the house.

The Vision External Distribution Amplifier (XDA) provides installers with a low cost system to wire TV sockets throughout the house It is simple to install with minimal disturbance as all wiring can be done outside of the roofs and internal walls The V21 series XDA enables outdoor distribution of Radio, TV and Sky Digibox signals around the house without the need to enter the loft or the roof space, thus simplifying installation

There are other benefits including reducing safety problems during installation as it is not necessary to enter roof spaces.

Minimising the need for indoor wiring, which may damage the internal decoration, is a significant benefit.

XDA can be used to distribute both analogue and digital signals including a Sky Digibox, Sky+ and Sky HD.

Remote control commands are handled via a return path from any brand of "remote eye" back to the RF2 output of a Sky receiver.

XDA powers the remote eyes, removing the load from the Digibox, unlike some inferior products.

XDA has 6dB gain to overcome signal loss over extended cable runs to provide a quality signal and reduce noise.

The main innovation of the XDA comes from the design which routes DC power through the TV coax cable so that there are no additional power cables.

Short circuit protection ensures electrical safety.

Vision outdoor products utilise a very high performance housing that ensures many years of reliable, trouble-free service.

Featuring F connectors for ease and speed of installation, the system is extremely installer friendly.

Commenting on the new XDA Richard Stallworthy, Product Manager of Vision, said, "The XDA is a significant advance in home TV installation".

"The demand from users for TV, satellite and radio aerials in each room can now be simply, safely and economically met".
