Visqueen responds to floor protection challenge

Protecting carpets and other floor coverings during building and refurbishment work is now lot easier thanks to Visqueen Building Products.

The leading manufacturer of films for the construction industry has just launched Megatac - an innovative, self adhesive film designed specifically to overcome the risks that can be posed by everything from dirty footprints to unexpected spillages.

The new product is incredibly easy to lay and is simply rolled out - after which its adhesive backing takes care of the rest.

It's equally easy to remove once a job is complete and leaves behind no residue or other telltale evidence of its use.

As an additional benefit, Megatac also enjoys anti-slip properties, helping to prevent accidents and contributing to a safer site.

Two variants of the new film are available - a trade grade, supplied as a 100 metre long roll and in a width of 600mm (meaning it's perfectly sized for heavy footfall areas such as hallways and stairways) and a flame retardant variant, supplied as a 100m long, 900mm wide roll.
