Victorian Wood Works supplied their quality timber flooring throughout the mobile phone and network retailer O2's new concept store in The O2, London's former Millennium Dome.

Following a vast GBP600 million redevelopment, The O2 has been transformed into a 20,000-seater venue to host music, entertainment and sporting events, and is set to be a venue for the 2012 Olympic Games.

230m2 of specially textured, wide Burgundy Oak Engineered Plank was specified for the O2 shop, as it would provide a contemporary, natural ambience that would be in keeping with the store design.

The shop features four areas; music, photos, videos and games and offers a unique interactive consumer experience unlike any other O2 store.

"The brief for this fascinating O2 concept store was for an inspirational interior that would be unlike any other".

"The finished store looks terrific, and is certain to be a most popular attraction within The O2 ", remarked Phil Wilson, Marketing Manager of Victorian Wood Works.
