DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR celebrate 10 years

10th edition of DACF will take place at Shanghai New International Expo Centre during March 11-13, 2008.

After nine years' development, DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR (DACF) has firmly established itself as the largest floor coverings show in Asia and one of the world's best places for sourcing and selling floor coverings.

DACF 2008, consisting of 5 major segments including Carpet, Wood and Laminate Flooring, Flooring Technology, Resilient and Sports Flooring and Staircase, will indicate the development trend of the industry and serve as an excellent platform for buyers and suppliers from home and abroad to communicate and trade with each other.

By the end of October, over 90% of the available venue space has been booked, reaching a gross area of 80,000 square meters, 28% increase of the same period last year.

The textile floor coverings area witnessed a big increase compared with 2007 edition.

The total exhibition area has reached 25,000 square meters.

China's leading brands have been grouped in one hall to showcase their superior products.

Famous Chinese carpet suppliers, such as Haima, Dongsheng, Jambros, and Jackson all participate with big booths.

Global giants, including Beaulieu of America, Oriental Weavers and Balta and international pavilions from Belgium, Germany, Holland and Turkey will also present their latest products and technology in the international carpet hall.

China International Carpet Fair, which features hand-made carpets, will again be held in conjunction with DACF and covering 6,000 square meters.

Around 350 carpet manufacturers will present themselves at the show.

The three halls of wood and laminate flooring have been booked out.

In order to meet the active demand, a large temporary hall will be set up.

Almost all major Chinese brands will be at DACF 2008.

In particular, China's No.1 solid wood producer-Nature, No.1 Laminate flooring company-Power Dekor, and the rising stars-Elegant Living and Giraffe all booked more than 500 square meters.

In addition, Shanghai Flooring Association again brings "Shanghai Flooring Pavilion" which incorporates many well-known brands in Shanghai, such as Anxin, Vohringer, Chinafloors and Allsun.

Dunhua Forestry Industry Association will make its first debut with a pavilion of over 10 companies from Dunhua city and present the local industry features in a space of 500 square meters.

The enthusiastic participation of wood and laminate flooring companies has very positive influence on the flooring technology section.

By the end of October, the sales of this section have increased 24% compared with last year.

The organizers are confident that the floortech section will add more highlight to the event.

The newest flooring machinery and accessories will be presented at DACF 2008.

The resilient flooring section has been sold out by now.

World's leading company - Tarkett booked a booth of 200 square meters.

Other famous brands like Armstrong, Polyflor, Jianchen and Yihua have also enlarged their exhibition area.

Sports Arena, the special display area of artificial grass and sports flooring attracted lots of attention at DACF 2007 and was highly praised by the exhibitors and visitors after the show.

In 2008, this sector will again expand and more new comers have joined.

Staircase, as a special kind of floor covering, has always been a unique exhibit over the years.

Famous bands such as Mebo, Minsun and Sigma have all participated in last editions.

In DACF 2008 this section will be expanded again.

DACF-the blossoming flower in the international floor covering industry is getting more and more attention from the world's flooring industry.

We look forward to welcoming thousands of suppliers and buyers again in Shanghai in March 2008 and celebrate together the tenth anniversary of this flagship event.
