VPhase offers training to lower energy consumption
VPhase is offering free training to installers looking to benefit from the growing watt watchers market.
Electrical installers can now benefit from being the first in the country to service watt watchers - homeowners wanting to save electricity costs, reduce wasted energy and make carbon savings across the home.
VPhase is offering 2-3 hour workshops every month across the country to demonstrate a step-by-step installation of the voltage optimisation device and provide expert technical advice.
Recent trial results independently verified by EA Technology, have shown savings in electricity consumption of between 6 and 12 per cent.
EA Technology has confirmed that these reductions could save the respective homeowners between GBP75 and GBP135 per year on their annual electricity bills.
This equates to carbon savings of 390 to 708kg per annum.
This depends on the incoming voltage to each property and the type of appliances in the house.
VPhase works by reducing and stabilising the incoming voltage to homes and managing it to a stable level, normally 220V in the UK.
The training workshops will demonstrate how the maintenance free unit can be easily fitted by a qualified electrician within an hour.
As well as receiving hands-on training, installers will be offered a 10 per cent discount on any single unit purchased on the day and will be provided with supporting marketing literature for their customers.
