An innovative range of energy efficient piping systems is being distributed throughout the UK thanks to Watts Industries, a leading manufacturer of products and services for the UK plumbing, heating and ventilation market place Microflex is composed of a thermal insulation wrapped around a carrier pipe and covered by a double-skinned closed chamber jacket, and ensures the safe, reliable and energy efficient distribution of water for heating, cooling and hot and cold water supply services

Microflex can be supplied in coils of 100 metre lengths, or cut to a customer's specific requirement.

Offered in a range of carrier pipe sizes from 25mm to 110mm, it is available as a single, twin or quadruple system.

The flexible, low weight construction enables Microflex to be installed quickly and easily over obstacles, and its minimal bending radii caters for tight bends.

The PEX carrier pipe can be used with a wide-range of liquids and applications.

Corrosion resistant and CFC free it is supplied with an oxygen diffusion barrier for low temperature heating applications, offering an environmentally friendly solution to energy conservation in a cost effective way.

This superior quality piping can also be used above ground if correctly supported.

It is maintenance free and can withstand short temperature surges of up to 110C and tests show the expected lifetime can be calculated to more than 50 years.
