Stuart Dodd, Global Product Manager for InfoNet, explains how this release moves the product forwards.

"Since launching InfoNet eighteen months ago customer feedback has been terrific and as is always the case at Wallingford Software has swiftly begun to drive forward the product development programme.

The developments included within InfoNet v2.0 reflect customer input in specific areas and help to consolidate the role this solution fulfills in the market place." The additional functions of InfoNet v2.0 include:.

* Exports and Imports long section exports to AutoCAD, exports to SWMM5, using an InfoNet network as a guest network in InfoWorks CS, imports of polygon boundaries.

* CCTV - includes built in support for the PACP (US), European Union, and MSCC (Examiner) CCTV standards, or user specified support for any custom CCTV coding system.

* InfoNet Viewer permits opening and viewing of all network data, but not changes to a network.

Paul Banfield, Sales Director of Wallingford Software sees the release of InfoNet v2.0 as an indicator that InfoNet is now an established product.

"We are committed to regular releases of all our products, and InfoNet is no exception.

The early success of InfoNet and the detailed development work behind this release confirm that InfoNet is now established as a proven and powerful tool in the management of hydraulic networks.".
