Ward Clads Aberdeen Landmark
Ward Insulated Panels has provided the cladding envelope for a striking and unusual project in Aberdeen, the Northern Light Tower.
Sub Contractors, Mackintosh Structures Ltd of Arbroath, Scotland used Ward DW1000 composite panel system to construct an octagonal observation tower that is the focal point of a major development in Aberdeen, creating a new landmark that can be seen for miles around In an innovative use of Ward insulated panels, Mackintosh used 850 square metres of DW1000 panels finished in pvf2 metallic silver, fixed horizontally onto the 50 metre high structural steel framework
