Ward DW1000 secret fix insulated wall panels in mountain blue have been used for the halls of residence at Lincoln University

Students at Lincoln University can now reside in contemporary and affordable city centre halls of residence thanks to the arrival of 'The JunXion', featuring wall panels supplied by Ward Insulated Panels.

2000m2 of Ward DW1000 secret fix insulated wall panels in mountain blue has been used for the halls of residence, which is due to house its first year of students this academic year.

Complementary curved panels by Ward in alaska grey have been used for the column casings creating an aesthetic feature consistent with the contemporary design of The JunXion.

Project Architects Perry and Bell Limited specified Ward DW insulated wall panels as the ideal solution for Lincoln University, combining rapid secret fix installation, aesthetic flexibility and approved fire-retardant properties to LCPB standards.

Approved Ward sheeting contractor Advanced Cladding Installations of Mansfield completed the installation in only 16 weeks.

Phil Gregory, Director at Advanced Cladding Installations comments: "The use of Ward DW insulated wall panels provided the solution for insulated curved column casings, meeting architectural design requirements and overall project time restrictions".

"Our extensive experience of installing Ward panels meant that the building envelope was easy to install and completed on time." The main contractor for The JunXion was North Midland Building .
