Architect David Carrel of The Harris Partnership says: "We wanted to maintain the appearance of the built-up cladding system used on the existing building, which incorporated a deep profiled outer sheet".

"We chose Ward Insulated Roof and Wall Panels because they are superior products which still allowed us to create the same design effect of vertical and horizontal blue-coloured banding that already existed without the fear of interstitial condensation and associated problems that can occur with built-up systems." New Corus Colorcoat Prisma material finished in Oyster and Slate was specified for the walls and Corus Colorcoat HPS200 plastisol in Goosewing Grey, was specified for the roof panels of the project.

The Ward wall cladding system uses a tongue and groove concealed fixing which allows panels to be laid horizontally or vertically.

Ward Insulated panels are fire rated to LPCB standards and offer minimal site assembly time.

Ward ensured the products were delivered to site on time, ensuring the project was completed on schedule.
