Waste and environmental management company- Wastefile UK is expanding its services following the acquisition of aggregates to groundworks company, YWM.

The Crowle, Scunthorpe company has been bought as part of a strategy to create a major national recycling and waste management company and is being integrated into Wastefile UK's operation Paul Cox, MD of Wastefile UK, which this year expects turnover to exceed GBP50 million, said they would be utilising the strengths of the GBP15 million turnover YWM to enhance services, embracing the potential of the combined resources of two highly successful and respected companies

YWM has 50 employees, blue-chip clients, and bases in Scunthorpe and Cornwall.

"The company offers services that will now be available to our own nationwide client base," said Paul Cox.

"At the same time we have a vast amount of experience and technical backup that can be used to expand the services of these two new strategic locations".

He added: "We continue to invest in waste and environmental innovation, exploring new waste to energy concepts and developing exciting material recovery methods that allow economic re-use of resources".

YWM was launched almost ten years ago as a one-stop service for construction support services.

Services include waste management, skip hire, recycling, earthmoving, bulk excavation, aggregates, remediation, demolition and health and safety.
