Wavin Plastics and Water UK are celebrating the first anniversary of working together in helping to improve communication between the water industry and its stakeholders.
Water UK is the industry association that represents all UK water and wastewater suppliers at national and European level.
Wavin Plastics is the first and only pipe manufacturer to become a partner of the organisation.
Over the last year Wavin's experts have contributed to events and conferences organised by Water UK and have been able to hold talks with representatives of the UK water industry about improving the way of how they work together.
"Water is quickly becoming a scarce resource, most of all in the South East," said George Gray, head of industrial liaison and development at Wavin.
"It is in all our best interest to work together on finding solutions for the problems the water industry is facing.".
