Wavin, the UK's leading supplier of water management and drainage systems, has launched Wireless Controls for use with its water-based OSMA Underfloor Heating (UFH) range.
The product has been purposely designed for landscaped, non-trafficked applications, which is reflected in the loading capacity.
AquaCell Lite has a proven vertical loading capacity of 17.5 tonnes/m2 and a lateral loading capacity of 4.0 tonnes/m2.
As a result, the product has a restricted installation depth of up to 1.5 metres.

New covers and frames provide safety benefits
Safety is top of the list on any building site, which is why Wavin has developed a safer solution for access to drainage systems with its range of lightweight polypropylene covers and frames.
This compares to the existing AquaCell, which is best suited to regular and heavy trafficked applications and has a proven vertical loading capacity of 56 tonnes/m2.
Original AquaCell is capable of being used in applications of up to and more than 1.5m deep.
The new AquaCell Lite units, which are green in colour to clearly distinguish the product from its existing blue counterpart, is suitable for both soakaway and storage tanks.
Each unit measures 1.0m x 0.5m x 0.4m and weighs just seven kilograms.
The system is quick and easy to construct by clipping the units together in single layers and pegging in multiple layers, using the clips and shear connectors provided.
The product also has built-in 'hand holes' for ease of use.
As with AquaCell, the system can also be 'brick-bonded' during installation for extra stability.
Both new AquaCell Lite and original AquaCell are compatible with existing Osma pipe systems and can be connected using components from the UltraRib, OsmaDrain and TwinWall ranges.
