To meet the need for a smaller more versatile soil manifold, Wavin Plastics has developed the first 6 Boss version.

To meet the need for a smaller more versatile soil manifold, Wavin Plastics has developed the first 6 Boss version.

Available now, the 6 Boss has been designed in response to the changing requirements of today's market and research carried out among plumbing contractors.

The new compact design fits easily into 200mm drilled or formed holes.

Six horizontal bosses with dual 40/50mm spigots create greater versatility for locating sanitaryware and appliances.

The new solvent weld fitting is designed specifically to allow low connections for the WC branch and waste runs.

Wavin Plastics' market manager Steve Skeldon explains why the 6 Boss soil manifold will be a big hit with end users.

"Plumbers are increasingly working inside tighter spaces, so a compact design was important.

With the trend towards high density housing here to stay the pressure to connect multiple waste runs to the soil stack will continue, which is why extra bosses have been added.

With a reduced body diameter, extra waste connections, a shape which makes drilling easy and a reduced need for bends we think that the 6 Boss overcomes many of the site problems plumbers encounter".
