New range from Wavin Plastics is a
perfect fit

Wavin Plastics launch new range of fittings for its TwinWall Drainage System to help installers achieve improved performance.

The new fittings, which offer enhanced socket design and have considerable benefits over the existing ones, are currently being rolled out to customers TwinWall is a cost effective pipe alternative for non-adoptable surface water drainage systems

The range will continue to be covered by existing BBA certificates with the majority of fittings being replaced by new ones on a like-for-like basis.

Jill Derrick, market manager for Rain and Stormwater products at Wavin Plastics, comments: "The new and existing fittings are compatible so the jointing procedure remains the same.

All single socket bends and some junctions in the larger 375 to 600mm range are being replaced by double socket fittings.

"All of the adaptors, end caps and most of the reducers, 90deg equal junctions and many of the 45deg unequal junctions will remain unaltered".

The company's accompanying TwinWall Product Guide has also being modified to include photographs of the new fittings.

The TwinWall drainage system is a safe and easy to install product that significantly reduces installation costs associated with drainage piping and systems.

It's the perfect solution for areas such as highways filter and carrier drains, rail track drainage and unadpotable surface water drains on industrial or commercial developments.

It is manufactured by a twin extrusion process in which two layers are extruded simultaneously, one inside the other, and heat welded together in one continuous process.

The pipe is available in nominal diameters ranging from 100mm to 600mm in standard six metres length. Request a free brochure from Wavin Plastics ...
