Online bathroom retailer adds new showroom

Online bathroom retailer WD Bathrooms have expanded their operations to include a further showroom based in the North East.

The company, originally launched as an online business selling discounted shower trays has just announced the launch of their second showroom in Hebburn, Tyne and Wear.

Raymond Dobson, Managing Director states "A large proportion of interest in our products comes from the North East region".

"The new showroom will also act as a distribution point for our Tyneside customers that purchase through our website".

The showroom, located on an industrial estate off one of the busy roads in to Newcastle town centre boasts a wide variety of the latest bathroom products, and their buying power enables them to sell these at very competitive prices to the public.

"Our size allows us to have the buying power to offer fantastic deals, but without the loss to the personal service that you expect from a local showroom".

WD Bathrooms recognise the importance that bathroom showrooms have as an addition to their online business Mr Dobson says "We wanted to have a physical presence in the market place so people can try before they buy".

Their Hebburn showroom has been opened to reflect the number of sales and growth that the company has experienced since their launch in 2005, with the expectation that they will turnover GBP4 million in the next twelve months.

As well as their showroom in Hebburn, they are also well placed in the heart of Yorkshire, with a showroom and distribution centre based at Sheffield, just 1 minute from junction 35 of the M1.

"Our head office is situated to allow us to distribute products quickly and cheaply throughout the UK.

The location is easily accessible, and by being situated out of town we have plenty of free, on-site parking available".

A new purpose-built showroom on the same site at Sheffield is due to open in Early 2008.
