Wedge Tackles Future Of Falkirk F.C.
Glasgow-based Scottish Galvanizers Ltd is helping Falkirk Football Club to take a lead over rival teams in the battle for promotion to the Scottish Premier League.
A brand new stadium is being built on the edge of Falkirk, to meet the official requirements of promotion to the top league and Scottish Galvanizers was the company selected to galvanize the 200 tonnes of structural steel beams required for the ground's new stands The club was controversially barred from joining teams like Celtic and Rangers in the Scottish Premier League this season, despite winning the 2002-2003 First Division title, because it did not have a suitable 10,000-capacity all-seater stadium
