DLH launches Weyerhaeuser's Lumin Plywood
DLH, the global timber and wood products wholesaler, has launched tongue and groove (TandG) ready Lumin plywood from Weyerhaeuser, for flooring and roofing applications.
Manufactured from plantation grown eucalyptus in South America, Lumin plywood is part of the environmentally responsible wood products range from international forest products company, Weyerhaeuser.
The development of TandG Lumin plywood has been driven by increased market demand for sustainable and certified flooring and roofing products.
CE certified by BM TRADA for roofing and flooring applications, the availability of TandG in addition to standard square edged panels will make Lumin plywood more accessible to a wider customer base.
Manufactured at a CE certified facility in Denmark, TandG Lumin plywood will be available to purchase from the beginning of Q2.
Eucalyptus faced, the panels are manufactured in a range of sizes to suit the specific requirements of flooring and roofing applications.
The structural floor decking panels will be supplied in 15mm (5 Ply), 18mm (5 Ply) and 21mm (7 Ply) sizes.
For structural roof decking TandG Lumin plywood will be available in 12mm (4 Ply), 15mm (5 Ply), 18mm (5 Ply) and 21mm (7 Ply).
Produced using trees from responsibly managed plantations in Uruguay, Lumin plywood is manufactured in a mill which has ISO 14001 certification and FSC Chain of Custody certification.
Owned and managed by Weyerhaeuser, these operations are designed to support sustainability of supply, ensuring long-term market confidence in the continued availability of Lumin plywood.
TandG Lumin plywood will be distributed through DLH's global network of stockists.
