A Wernick Hire product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Feb 23, 2010

Wernick Hire has supplied a fire damaged school with emergency classrooms within a tight timeframe, with its modular and portable buildings.

A four-classroom block at Cowbridge Comprehensive School was destroyed by fire and the local education authority had to move quickly to provide replacement accommodation for the 433 displaced students.

The destroyed classrooms housed the food technology, design technology, textiles and information technology departments, further complicating the emergency project.

All these rooms had been fitted with expensive equipment and much of this had also been lost in the fire.

Wernick Hire modular and portable buildings are fully refurbished before they are sent out on re-hire; a re-used building is a re-cycled building.

From quotation to site completion, the project was completed by Wernick in 31 days from the date of the outbreak of the fire.

The quotation from Wernick was the most cost effective and the company was also prepared to guarantee delivery to a tight completion date.

In addition Wernick Hire offers a range of special Eco Units for hire which combine a number of energy saving features to help reduce the collective carbon footprint of client businesses.
