CERT Funding available from WBS

A Wetherby Building Systems product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Apr 21, 2009

Wetherby Building Systems now have the ability to gain direct access to CERT Funding on behalf of any UK Local Authority, Housing Association or Private Landlord.

The Carbon Emissions Reduction Target (CERT) came into effect in April 2008.

This scheme makes it obligatory for every UK energy company to take the necessary steps to ensure that the amount of CO2 emitted from domestic properties is dramatically reduced.

Up until recently, loft and cavity wall insulation have dominated this area, with funding for such being widely publicised and made available.

However External Wall Insulation Systems are now considered to be the next main area of focus, due to the unsurpassable energy saving benefits that they offer.

Where one of their Insulated Render Systems is specified on a refurbishment project, Wetherby Building Systems now have the ability to gain direct access to CERT Funding on behalf of any UK Local Authority, Housing Association or Private Landlord.

Certain qualifying criteria must naturally be met, however the application process is very straight forward and a decision can often be made within a few days.
