New architectural product range by Wienerberger
Wienerberger has launched a new range of products to provide the widest choice of appealing clay bricks in Europe for architects, developers and specifiers to choose from.
Bricks have been used as a construction material for thousands of years.
The difference is that now, from Wienerberger, architects can have an unprecedented choice of colours, shapes, textures and forms to create any brickwork effect imaginable.
From the traditional to the avant-garde, in all colours and formats the new products satisfy all tastes and can be found across the following ranges: Diamond - high quality bricks in a smooth or lightly sanded finish that create an individual style while using the traditional British sizes.
Agora - offering, for the first time, today's designer colours not usually available in the UK.
Heritage - traditional manufacturing methods are used to produce the subtle colours and textures of this range and are enhanced by being able to offer them in the unusual size of 288 x 88 x 62 mm to offer a distinctive effect.
Vintage - joining together unique bricks both available in a red and black colour finish offering different sizes and distinctive appearance which allows architects the opportunity to be different when using a traditional material.
Safari - An exclusive range of sanded wire-cut facings in size which will enhance the design of any modern building.
Classic - answering to the demands of the modern designer who wishes to use different colours and textures but retain the traditional feel and effect of a clay brick.
Associate sales director Andy Harrison, who heads Wienerberger's dedicated Specification Team, comments: "This new range proves that brick is back and better than ever".
"The potential to create remarkable and awe inspiring structures with brick is unrivalled and our Specification Team will ensure that architects and specifiers are given expert advice to be able to achieve fantastic results.
"The choice of facing bricks is extremely important as they determine the external look of a project.
If a building is to be aesthetically pleasing, it is preferable to choose facing bricks which suit the personality of the end user.
You will undoubtedly find such bricks at Wienerberger through our new TERCA range".
The new products available from Wienerberger can be found in a new architectural brochure titled; "The Desire to be Different," which also outlines the manufacturer's commitment craftsmanship, using natural and recycled products and its respect for nature.
All facing bricks from Wienerberger carry the internationally recognized CE label and are manufactured in accordance with BS EN 771-1.
