Two new industrial mig/mag welders
launched
Wilkinson Star launch two new industrial MIG/MAG welders - Redstar 350 and Redstar 450.
These 3-phase 400V 25/32A standard welding machines are designed for heavy duty MIG/MAG welding applications including general fabrication and structural steel work using both solid and flux cored wires They both have heavy duty transformers, twin inductance settings providing consistent arc characteristics and performance, a digital volt and ammeter, plus 30 different voltage settings, whilst the 4-wheel drive wire feeders have wire speed and burn back controls

Wilkinson Star has launched StarLight SL55, a lighting tower using an integrated MOSA generator and 5.5 m telescopic steel mast with 4 x 400W metal halide floodlights able to illuminate a 1700m2 area.
The Redstar 350 is supplied with a 5m.
interconnector cable, AX36 MIG welding torch feeding 0.8 - 1.2mm wires and has an OCV (open circuit voltage) of 23 - 49V with a welding current range 62 - 350 Amps and is rated 300A @ 60% duty cycle.
The Redstar 450 is supplied with a 5m interconnector cable, SP-380 MIG welding torch feeding 0.8 - 1.6mm wires and has an OCV of 23 - 56V with a welding current range 62 - 450 Amps and is rated 400A @ 60% duty cycle.
Both machines are built to IP21S protection standard and can use wire spools up to max 300mm diameter.
They are both supplied with the power source and wire feed units each having easy to grip handles and 4-caster wheels for easy manoeuvrability.
