New rotary screw compressors from Wilkinson Star

Wilkinson Star has launched the ARK 30 SD, the newest model in their speed drive series of rotary screw air compressors.

The ARK 30 SD, an inverter controlled, 30HP 22kW air compressor, has been designed as a fixed installation for use in large automotive bodyshops and other engineering workshop environments requiring large volumes of compressed air.

Features of this compressor include energy savings of up to 30% through its variable speed as demand for compressed air increases or decreases, a consistent working pressure, microprocessor controlled easy to programme control panel, a radial fan that provides efficient ventilation as well as high quality electrical, electronic and mechanical components to reduce maintenance costs.

It has a maximum 10 bar (145psi) working pressure, a free air delivery of 810 litres (28.6 cfm) - 3120 litres (110.2 cfm) and a low operating noise level of 68 dB(A).
