Win business in growing social housing sector

A Windowbase product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Nov 21, 2008

Latest social housing specifiers database update is now available from Windowbase.

Almost 2,000 decision makers responsible for specifying building materials and services have been updated, allowing Windowbase customers to target prospects accurately and cost effectively.

The database consists of 799 organisations, including Housing Associations and Trusts, ALMOs (Arms Length Management Organisations) and Local Authorities.

"With the decline in retail markets, companies are increasingly looking down new avenues to increase their sales," explains Neil Parsonson, General Manager of Windowbase.

"And there's a wealth of opportunities in social housing".

"In fact it's just about the only sector that's unaffected by the downturn".

"With the Government's increased support for social housing, including additional funding to acquire properties from the distressed private housebuilding sector and a focus on affordable housing, the social housing sector has money to spend".

"We've excluded tiny housing associations, those with a housing stock of less than 200.

Veterans of the social housing sector will know that though numerous they don't amount to much, and are difficult to get hold of.

Everyone on the database is responsible for the business worth chasing".

"The database identifies specifiers by name, job title, organisation, address and telephone, together with the housing stock they are responsible for".

"Maps are provided to enable customers to identify which organisations handle specific social housing areas in Great Britain - without maps it isn't always obvious! Mailing labels and follow-up telephone lists are also available, so your sales team can really get the most from your prospect data.".
