Windowbase helps firms target Budget opportunities

A Windowbase product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Apr 24, 2009

Prospect data supplier Windowbase says anyone targeting housebuilders or social housing must act fast to get a slice of the action promised by the recently announced GBP600m Budget support.

Among the Budget announcements so far is a GBP400m scheme to kick-start stalled housebuilding projects in England - and GBP100m for local authorities to build new, energy-efficient social housing, with GBP100m for initiatives in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Not as much as we hoped for, but a start at least.

But to win the business you need to target the right people.

Since the credit crunch, most housebuilder databases are out of date, while many social housing databases don't list decision-makers and are often inaccurate.

"Windowbase has up-to-date details of over 5,500 decision-makers at 4,000 housebuilders," explains Neil, "making it the UK's largest and most accurate source of housebuilder prospect information.

Records can be segmented by the number of homes built, enabling users to target direct mail effectively, and decision makers are identified.

"Our social housing database includes comprehensive details for almost 2,000 decision makers responsible for specifying building materials and services.

The database consists of 799 organisations, including Housing Associations and Trusts, ALMOs (Arms Length Management Organisations) and Local Authorities.

Tiny housing associations with a housing stock of fewer than 200, have been excluded, so you know you're targeting those responsible for valuable business.

"Thanks to the Budget, both private housebuilders and social housing have money to spend.

Windowbase can help you win the business.
