Wilo solution to condensate drain problems

A Wilo (UK) product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Sep 22, 2005

Wilo offering condensate pump for installations where natural gradient insufficient to allow the condensate from a boiler to drain away under gravity.

With Building Regulations Part 'L' now stipulating the use of condensing boilers, leading European pump manufacturer Wilo, is offering a condensate pump for installations where the natural gradient is not sufficient to allow the condensate from a boiler to drain away under gravity or where the installation is situated below the backflow level.

The 'Wilo-Drainlift Con' is an automatic 'ready for installation' unit for the direct drainage of condensate from gas condensing boilers where the pH value of the condensate is not less than 2.4.

The unit is supplied ready for installation with the use of a mains plug to a socket outlet with an earth.

The units are available from your local merchant.
