Wilo team in annual Charity Pursuit
Yacht Race
This year's annual CIBSE Invitation Charity Pursuit Yacht Race, held over a fifty mile course in the Solent, was won by a team from the main sponsors - Wilo UK
The winning yacht - Longer Happy Dayz - is a fast sloop made by German boat builders Hanse Longer Happy Dayz crossed the line off Southampton 15 seconds ahead of the second boat in the race, with Wilo's Paul Woolley at the helm

The yacht had started ninth on the grid with a handicap of 16 minutes behind the first boat.
Paul explained : "It was a great race, if somewhat testing, with gusts up to force 7 and 8 during the race, with some of the bigger boats choosing to retire rather than face the elements".
"The race is held each year with the proceeds from the event going to the Jubilee Sailing Trust, which raises funds to help young people, some of who may have a range of disabilities to sail on the tall ships and experience sailing first hand for themselves".
"It's a fantastic, well organised event for a really worthy case!" After collecting their trophies, the crew sailed the yacht home to its moorings on the River Medway.
