Condensing oil fired boilers offer choice
Worcester Bosch has launched a brand new range of SEDBUK A rated Greenstar oil-fired condensing boilers.
Building on the success of the popular SEDBUK C rated Danesmoor range of oil-fired boilers and the A rated Greenstar II HE 12/22 appliance, Worcester Bosch has launched a brand new range of SEDBUK A rated Greenstar oil-fired condensing boilers in preparation to the anticipated building regulation changes which will affect the oil boiler market from 2007.
The new Greenstar Danesmoor and Greenstar Utility condensing boiler series gives more choice to the homeowner and offers an energy efficient solution for those who are concerned with conserving energy or forced to because of rising crude oil prices.
Installers and specifiers installing a Greenstar Danesmoor or Utility boiler will be meeting and exceeding Government legislation well in advance of industry requirements.
Fitting the same footprint as the standard efficiency Danesmoor appliances, the new Greenstar oil-fired boilers have a new look Worcester Bosch 'skin' design developed in response to consumers wishes for an aesthetically pleasing boiler that doesn't need to be integrated.
With the ability to convert up to 93% of the oil consumed into heat for heating and hot water comfort, the Greenstar Danesmoor and Greenstar Utility pass on a savings benefit of 5-10% on heating and hot water bills to the homeowner compared to new non-condensing boilers and up to 25% on an older boiler.
Available in builders merchants from July, the Greenstar Danesmoor and Utility range consists of four models.
The Greenstar Danesmoor 18/25 and Greenstar Utility 18/25 - measuring 855mm x 600mm x 370mm and weighing 119kg, these floor standing appliances are ideally suited for installation under the kitchen worktop or in an utility room.
The Greenstar Utility 32/50 and 50/70 models are ideally suited for large sized houses or light commercial properties and have been designed for installation into non-kitchen areas, such as an outhouse, utility room or boiler house.
The Greenstar Danesmoor version is supplied as standard with a light grey fascia panel with mounted boiler temperature controller, mains on and lock out indicator lights.

It also features a removable panel onto which the optional seven-day timer can be fitted allowing the hot water and central heating system to be operated from the boiler.
The optional plug-in programmer eliminates the need for external wiring.
The Greenstar Utility is an economical series of appliances finished in durable white casing.
Within the cabinet are the temperature controller and re-set buttons and external controls must be fitted for optional timers.
For installers, the boilers are quick and easy to install.
A range of flueing options means the boilers can be connected to a conventional flue system or a room-sealed, multi-directional balanced flue system offering siting flexibility.
