Worcester, part of the Bosch Group, will be the largest and most comprehensive oil boiler organisation in the UK when the Boulter Camray appliances join the Worcester family.

The 63 strong boiler range, which includes internal and external, wall mounted and floor standing appliances, is only part of Worcester's huge commitment to strengthen its oil offer in preparation for the anticipated 2007 building regulations - bringing oil in line with gas SEDBUK requirements.

Oil Range.

The oil range will include standard efficiency Danesmoor, Heatslave and Camray models and high efficiency Greenstar Heatslave, Greenstar Danesmoor and Greenstar Utility models.

The company has also made a commitment to further build its Greenstar SEDBUK A rated oil range and develop condensing Camray appliances before 2007, offering home owners between 5% and 25% savings on their fuel consumption.

Said Steve Lister, director of sales at Worcester; "The Camray brand is already strong in the oil marketplace, so by joining the Camray range with the national framework we've built for the Worcester brand, we have a bigger, more impressive product range, along with the support network to ensure that we stay where we want to be - the installer's choice - providing high quality, reliable, easy to install and service oil boilers".

Oil Training.

Worcester recognises that demand for skilled oil installers is going to increase in the lead up to 2007 and in preparation has invested £200,000 developing its Clay Cross training centre to include Camray and courses are still being held in Worcester, Rochester and Bangor.

For installers that cannot reach a training centre two Mobile OFTEC Training Vehicles will tour the UK.

Explains Martyn Bridges, technical manager at Worcester; "We have become the biggest manufacturer to supply gas training in the UK.

We're putting many of the same initiatives in place for oil".

"As the months tick by there will be growing pressure on installers to be up to speed with oil condensing installation and all the new appliances that will be entering the market place so we're making sure there are plenty of opportunities for those wishing to get their training in early".

Oil Promotion.

Beginning in 2006, installers that buy any boiler from the Worcester oil range will receive free leisure vouchers.

These can be redeemed with over 45 partners including tourist attractions, restaurants, weekend breaks and holidays.

Said Vicky Andrew, Worcester marketing services manager; "We are always looking for ways to reward installers that are loyal to our products and this is a perfect way for them to treat the family to a day out at a theme park or save their vouchers towards a summer holiday, it really is as flexible as that!".
