Worcester and IPHE initiative
Worcester, part of the Bosch Group, is developing closer links with the IPHE (Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering).
They are helping to improve the development of its College Links students, field sales, field service, technical advisor's and customer contact staff, all in one initiative Worcester has enjoyed a very close relationship with the IPHE for many years and thanks to this the two have come together to offer free membership for over 300 service engineers, and free associate membership for 42 technical advisor's and 60 sales staff

In order to promote the uptake of professional development and encourage the retention of IPHE trainee members, Worcester has offered of number of training events to Institute members.
Worcester will provide 40 free places on solar training courses in January 2008.
Martyn Bridges, director of marketing and technical support at Worcester, said: "We are very excited about this joint initiative with the IPHE and feel it is mutually beneficial.
We are very keen to help support installers and the installers of the future at all levels and provide them with greater development opportunities.
This will also be valuable for raising the profile of the Institute".
Blane Judd, chief executive of the IPHE, said: "This partnership with Worcester is a great start to the 'Expect to see IPHE' promotion which we will be launching in 2008.
The aim is to encourage more people to recognise the need to use professionally qualified plumbing and heating engineers and leave the cowboys no place to operate.
This initiative will contribute to reductions in warranty returns and help protect the environment by making sure that customers are supplied with the right products for their lifestyle choice and for the good of the environment.
